Written during a series of hangovers, including one that took place in the parking lot of an outlet mall. Stylistically influenced by the Cincinnati band Psychodots. We can't make this stuff up.
lyrics
Woke up in the parking lot at the local mall
I’ve got my windows rolled down, but it’s still too hot
And I can’t think at all
I remember what I did last night
Or maybe it was a dream
Everything’s so much more believable
When I see it on Tee Vee
I want to fall in love
I want to rock and roll
And I can do it all
All I need is my remote control
I’ll skip the sad story about how I went too far
I’m driving on the interstate feeling kind of sick
But I just can’t stop my car
I know what it was that I said last night
But I don’t know how I should feel
And if it hasn’t premiered on my big screen
I can’t be sure it was real
I need to be the boss
I want to meet all my goals
And I can have it all
All I need is my remote control
I want to be a star
But I don’t want to sell my soul
And I can have it all
All I need is my remote control
